A Life of Purpose

So small, so strong,
So focused, so industrious,
Laboriously, patiently, silently,
Treading a path towards your goal.
Thou art so short lived
And yet thou findeth a purpose in life
To plan, to save, to work
For thy community.

Unwavered by the dangers
That threaten each day
Thou worketh,
Knowing thy reward shall lie
In doing thy best each day.
Brother Ant, so tiny among the created things,
I thank thy Creator
For the wisdom endowed upon thee!

A new day has come

A beautiful morn is born

Arise,

Go forth,

Work and serve each day

Till the day's toil is done

Till the Sun goes back to its slumber

And even after the Moon rises

Work to change the destiny

of those around you and yourself

can touch deep within
and become a spring of life
that lightens the soul
and blooms as new life
